Plot summary
Brothers Danny and Seymour Gordon work together as filmmakers. Seymour learns that his wife has spent their life savings on self-help gurus, and he wants to show how easily the business cons people into believing just about anything. Together the brothers invent a fake self-help group called Reboot Camp and give it a leader, the guru Gordon St. Pierre. Danny films everything, intending the footage to become a documentary about how simple such a con is to run. The invented camp instead attracts a devoted following, and the group turns into a real cult as new members and celebrities join.
