Plot summary
Mildred Burke is a single mother from a small town, and in her time women are barred from wrestling rings across the country. The only matches open to her are underground ones. Skeptics and opponents stand against her, and the system around the sport is built to shut her out, yet she keeps wrestling in a business that has no place set aside for women.
