Plot summary
The Coal Elf Brigade is the North Pole unit that carries coal to children who have been naughty, leaving small notes that nudge them toward the nice list. With Christmas near, Wayne and Lanny are sent after classified North Pole technology that a hacker has taken. Wayne's partner for the job is his younger brother Noel, a brigade member who knows naughty children better than anyone else. The brothers are estranged, and Wayne is reluctant to bring him, then agrees. On the trip the two recall a childhood when they worked together more smoothly than they do now. The team reaches the hacker's house.
