Plot summary
Parker is a professional thief. He works with a crew and with Grofield, a fellow thief who also runs a struggling theater company. Parker has been exiled from New York City by Lozini, the leader of a crime syndicate called the Outfit. Zen, a mercenary, and her comrades under Colonel Ortiz come from a country ruled by the corrupt president De La Paz, who has hired the Outfit to steal the treasure of a shipwreck. De La Paz intends to display the treasure at the United Nations and then sell it for himself. Parker proposes that his crew let the Outfit do the stealing and then take the treasure from them.
