Plot summary
Pandora is a freight transport carrier bound for Earth with Thanatos aboard, a strange substance that is a desperately needed new energy supply, and Tarver is one of the crew. Holloway commands the ship, promoted after the death of the previous captain, Rubini. Part of the crew distrusts the cargo. Approaching Earth, Pandora changes course to investigate a distress call sent by the spacecraft Diana, which appears abandoned at first. Four nurses are found in its medical facility, and they say they survived a pirate attack. When the Thanatos container ruptures and its fluid spills, those exposed mutate into flesh-eating creatures, and the crew must choose whether to destroy them or join them.
