Plot summary
Darren and three other boys are friends at the same high school, where Darren is failing his years and is the target of a bully. The abuse ends when Darren shoots the boy who torments him. That act breaks the bond the four share, and the other three decide that their friend has to be protected. They seize the school, send the rest of the students out of the building, and stay inside with him. Darren's best friend is among the three who remain.
