Plot summary
Dan Burton once made a feature film; now he shoots pop-up advertisements. His marriage to Lisa, an actress still waiting for her break, has gone sour. Before leaving town he stops at a nursing home to see his father, Michael. Then he and Lisa drive out to the cabin by the lake where they will spend the weekend. Dan has arranged for Henry, an ex-convict he knows, to help him kill Lisa there. Lisa has her own plan for the weekend: she intends to shoot Dan and pass it off as a hunting accident, using one of Michael's guns.
