Plot summary
Luna is a Chinese American girl growing up in the big city. Her father Chu is a single father who repairs shoes in a shop he runs out of the family garage. From the day she watches a rocket launch into space on television, Luna is set on becoming an astronaut. Chu backs the ambition. For her sixth birthday he gives her a pair of astronaut-themed boots.
