Plot summary
The film follows the five members of One Direction, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, who came together as a group on The X Factor in 2010. It tracks them on the Take Me Home Tour, with concert footage from the O2 Arena in London, and reaches back to their lives before and after the show. Much of it looks at the work behind a concert and at what life on the road is like. Fans who sent in stories after a request on YouTube also appear. The footage is not scripted; Styles has said having cameras around was frightening, and Horan has said the crew went everywhere.
