Plot summary
Aurora spends her working hours at a distribution center in Edinburgh, Scotland, employed as an order picker. She came to the country from Portugal, and the pay she receives there is what she depends on. She goes home to a room of her own and no one in it. The wage slavery of the job and the social isolation around her press on her identity, and she takes whatever opportunity she can to push back against them.
