Odd Brodsky (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

Audrey Brodsky works at a desk job she hates. After eleven years she quits, hoping to make a living as an actress, the dream she has carried since childhood. That hope runs into a plain fact: acting is not something she does well. She meets a man on the internet who wants to work as a cameraman, and she moves into a place with a new roommate. The comedy takes its jokes from life in Los Angeles and from the importance people place on celebrity.
