Plot summary
Billy Raedeen and his partner in crime Buford Dill are small time crooks. Billy is on the run from the law after a conviction, and on his way to Utah he comes upon an auto wreck and pulls a baby girl from the wreckage. He decides to keep her even though he knows almost nothing about caring for an infant. Shauna Louise, a waitress at a diner, and her neighbor Estelle help him with the child. Buford tracks Billy down and sees money in the baby, but Billy and Shauna Louise have become attached to her and will not part with her.
