Plot summary

The Spencer family's middle son, Timothy, lives with anxiety, depression and a mood disorder that becomes more debilitating over time. Panic attacks and rages, doctors and medications enter the household's daily routine. His mother, Catherine, takes on the search for help, while his father, Henry, and his brothers, Kyle and Jessie, carry the strain of Timothy's illness. Catherine puts much at stake to get her son care without losing the rest of the family, and hard decisions about his treatment face the parents. The marriage and the well being of the other boys feel the weight of those choices, which reshape the life all five of them share.
