Plot summary
The Shadow is a darkness the media has described as a murderer carrying a grudge against women of loose morals, and Q, an aging spy, is looking for it. He lives in a mansion on a mountaintop with M, his delusional wife, and Alex, their promiscuous son. M is troubled by a haunted closet and by poor television reception in the house. Alex is a typical boy on the verge of maturity, experimenting sexually and emotionally. The Shadow brings terrors that drive the family toward madness.
