Never Talk to Strangers (1995) on Netflix

Plot summary

Dr. Sarah Taylor works as a criminal psychologist and keeps other people at a distance. On the job she interviews a client accused of rape who hopes to be found insane rather than guilty. At a shopping mall she meets Tony Ramirez, a young man she finds hard to resist, and she gives him her telephone number. The two begin seeing each other, though her neighbor Cliff Raddison, with whom she once spent a single night, keeps pressing his attentions on her. Within days, threatening calls arrive and gifts she never asked for, dead flowers among them. The more time she spends with Tony, the more extreme the gifts become.
