Plot summary
Linda Kessler and her husband Mark have a marriage that looks perfect from the outside, and their daughter Chloe is eight years old. The Kesslers' beloved elderly nanny has begun to suffer from Alzheimer's disease, and Chloe is injured by her. Linda wants her child to be safe, so she hires Heather, who seems sunny and like an ideal addition to the household but is a schemer who works on the cracks in Linda and Mark's marriage.
