David Sullivan

David Sullivan is an actor who grew up in Longview, Texas, and performed in one-act stage productions while at Spring Hill High, where he showed a natural ease before live audiences. After graduating high school in 1996, he turned down a theater scholarship to Kilgore Junior College and accepted an academic scholarship to Baylor University, where he studied business and graduated in 2000 while acting in Baylor theater department productions, despite never formally training as an actor. Much of his work after college involved low-budget films, often made alongside friends who worked in front of and behind the camera. His first official casting call and first leading film role came as Abe in Primer (2004), an independent film shot in Dallas that won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. He later moved to Los Angeles, appeared in the television series Joey and Big Love, and filmed other movies.
