Plot summary
Christina Masters runs McDougal's flagship department store, and the company is opening a branch in Paris. She wants to manage it. Victoria owns the store, and Christina hopes to impress her with a holiday display grander than any McDougal's has staged. Christina has given Victoria her assurances, though inspiration is exactly what she lacks. Kurt Stone was recently let go from the store, and he is an artist raising his young son on his own. Christina asks for his help with the display, and as the two work side by side, the business relationship turns personal and Christina finds herself falling in love.
