Plot summary
A virus has turned most of humanity into bloodthirsty mutants. Sonia and Marco, a couple, ride in an ambulance with two police officers toward a military base and a research facility called NOAH, reported to be free of infection and working on a cure. Tensions rise among the four occupants as they travel. A hit and run and an attack on the road scatter the group, and Sonia and Marco end up sheltering alone in an empty building. Sonia is pregnant and appears immune to the virus. Marco was infected in the attack and is slowly changing. She stays with him and holds to the hope of a cure while infected creatures and still-human marauders threaten the building.
