Plot summary
Shane Brown, an American scientist, and his wife June arrive in Paris for what is meant to be their honeymoon. Shane has another errand there: he is trying to trace Léo Sémeneau, a neuroscientist he once worked with who now keeps a low profile as a general practitioner. Léo keeps his wife Coré shut inside their home by day because she is dangerous to others. Shane visits a clinic where studies of human libido are carried out, and a doctor who knew Léo passes on the couple's address.
