Plot summary

Sam is a musician in Paris. His music tapes are at his ex-girlfriend Fanny's flat. She is hosting a party and brushes him off before saying where the tapes are. A partygoer bumps into him on his way to the office, his nose bleeds, and he passes out. Chaos erupts outside the door and he sleeps through it. He wakes to a trashed flat, blood on the walls, nobody inside. Fanny is in the stairway, one of the living dead, and charges at him when he speaks her name. He locks himself in her flat and watches zombies kill a family across the street as they try to drive away. The flat, several floors up, is the only safe place. The zombies are fast and silent, and gather in hordes at any sight or sound.
