Plot summary
Gus DeMarco works as an electrician, and since childhood he has wanted to buy an old bowling alley with a group of friends. The bank turns down his request for the down payment because of the alimony he owes his ex-wife, Leonora. Those payments stop if she marries again, so Gus sets out to introduce her to every man he can think of who might become her husband.
