Plot summary
Zed is offered a big break: a European tour supporting a more famous rapper. He is a British-Pakistani rapper based in New York, with an American girlfriend named Bina. Before the tour begins, he returns to England for a tense reunion with his traditional family, leaving Bina behind. After he collapses, he is taken to a hospital, where he learns that his leg muscles have weakened. He also starts having bizarre visual and auditory hallucinations, and doctors diagnose a degenerative autoimmune disease.
