Plot summary
In 1961 Liverpool, Brian Epstein runs NEMS, his family's record shop. Teenage customers keep asking for a German single by a local group, the Beatles. Brian visits the Cavern Club to watch them and sees how they hold a crowd of teenagers. He has no music industry experience, but he offers to manage the group, saying his record selling has taught him how their audience thinks. They agree, and he asks them to smarten their image with matching suits and haircuts.

- Filming on Midas Man was on hiatus for over a year before resuming in Blackpool in May 2023, and Joe Stephenson then took over as director from Sara Sugarman, who left over scheduling issues and creative differences.
- The planned 12-week shoot began in Liverpool on 11 October 2021, but principal photography was halted for three weeks when director Jonas Åkerlund left the production that November.
