Plot summary
Astor, a zoology major, has carried a crush on Mila since they were kids. After a drunken birthday he takes her home to look after her, and an awkward courtship begins, then stops as abruptly. Still unable to let her go, he asks Cali, Mila's close friend who lately cut Mila off for reasons Astor does not know, for advice. Cali trains him in approaching women and in seeming attractive to them, telling him to be confident and not to put on an act; she argues that real love involves sex, not abstinence. The lessons go poorly: his lines fall flat and small talk deserts him, while Cali keeps stepping in when women call him pathetic.
