Miracle Laurie

Miracle Laurie is an American actress who began her path toward acting at Orange Coast College, where she took part in the student-run repertory theater and in shows staged by faculty. Among her roles then were Belle Starr in Jessie and the Bandit Queen in 2000, several other female parts in that play, and Ariel in William Shakespeare's The Tempest in 2001. Her first credited television appearance came in 2004, as Veronica, a sorority sister, in an episode of Medical Investigation called Team. She took the role of Elsa in the pilot of The Cabonauts in 2009. Also in 2009, Joss Whedon chose her for Dollhouse, a series about a secret company that erases people's memories, gives them new personalities, and rents them out. It was her first major dramatic part, and she played the supporting character Mellie. She is also a dancer and ukulele player in Uke Box Heroes, a cover band she helped start.
