Plot summary
During a diamond heist, Lupin III and Daisuke Jigen hide their prize inside a doll. On their flight, a girl named Julia takes the doll, and Lupin follows her to Fujiko Mine, who is chaperoning Julia. Hijackers seize the plane and demand ransom, but Chris, watching from a distance, sets off a bomb, and the passengers escape in the confusion. Julia is then kidnapped by Chris and his men. Fujiko reveals that Julia is the daughter of Douglas, a wealthy American campaigning for president. Rhisley, leader of the Nostradamus Sect, tells his followers that he holds the lost prophecies of Nostradamus, though his book is a fake. The real book sits in a vault atop Douglas's Earth Building, and Fujiko admits she took the job of watching Julia to steal it.
