Plot summary
A coven assembles for a ritual and finds that Adrian Woodhouse, Rosemary's boy, has left his room. His mother is behind it, and the members use her belongings to steer the forces of evil toward her. Rosemary and Adrian take sanctuary in a synagogue, where strange events disturb the rabbis, yet the coven's power cannot touch them inside a house of God. Guy, Rosemary's husband and a famous movie star, hears from Roman Castevet that his wife and the child have disappeared and that she may reach out to him. That night Rosemary telephones Guy from a bus stop to arrange money. Children in the area tease Adrian and take his toy car, and he knocks them unconscious. Marjean Dorn, a prostitute who saw what happened, offers the pair her trailer.
