Plot summary
Julia Peterson, a political journalist, travels to Venezuela to report on the country's economic crisis and the American political and corporate interests around it. A whistleblower, Fede Torres, describes an arrangement between Keystone Oil, an American oil company, and the military contracting work of General Roman and Moreau, his associate. Julia is abducted and held at a black site in Venezuela. Her mother, Senator Olivia Peterson, asks her estranged brother-in-law Gunner, a former Special Forces operative, to bring her home. He recruits two former teammates, Matty and West.
