Plot summary
Rudd Landy is a realtor with a wife named Deirdre, two sons and a chance at the reality show NYC Hustlers. Josh, his older brother and a billionaire, will not let Rudd sell his mansion and outdoes him at family gatherings. Years ago Rudd mentored Marcus Pinchel in a Big Brothers-style program only because it helped his college applications. Marcus, who went through sixteen foster homes and lost his brother Manny, treasures the connection. He leaves a psychiatric hospital and hitchhikes to New York, where a garbage truck hits him.
