Sherry Cola
Biography
Born in Shanghai and raised in Temple City, California, Sherry Cola is a comedian and actor of Chinese descent whose path to the screen ran through radio and stand-up. She took Upright Citizens Brigade classes and performed comedy before her first major television part, a recurring role as Natalie on the Amazon series I Love Dick in 2017. Wider attention arrived with her portrayal of Alice Kwan on the Freeform drama Good Trouble. Two 2023 comedies, Joy Ride and Shortcomings, marked her breakthrough, and she went on to the Netflix romantic comedy A Family Affair (2024) and the Netflix series Nobody Wants This. Her voice work includes a lead in the animated film The Tiger's Apprentice (2024), and she later took a recurring role on Apple's Shrinking. Earlier credits include the romantic drama Endings, Beginnings (2020).
