She has married Daniel, an American she met a few months ago, and her nine-year-old son Dragos has arrived to live with them. Over one day she looks for someone to watch Dragos, has a meeting with a US immigration official, goes to a bank with Daniel about a loan, and answers police questions about her son, whom she left in a motel room.
