Plot summary
Captain Eddie "Reaper" Grimm, a drone pilot for the US Air Force, flies a Reaper over the southern Philippines, with Staff Sergeant Nia Branson assisting him. Their drone is providing air support to a US Army Delta Force team on the ground, hunting for a CIA spy held by the Abu Sayyaf. With that team is Sergeant JJ Kinney, a young TACP who handles the radio as its JTAC and answers to the callsign Playboy. When the Abu Sayyaf find the Americans, a firefight erupts. Kinney is left as the only one still standing, and his remaining support is Grimm's aircraft above him, which carries a limited stock of weapons.
