Plot summary
On Christmas Eve the police pick up Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo in Milan during what looks like a home burglary, all three of them dressed in Santa Claus costumes. At the station Chief Bestetti accuses them of being the Santa Claus Gang, the thieves the police are after, and charges them with the burglary. The three insist they are innocent, and to prove it they explain how they came to be out in those costumes, describing during the interrogation parts of their lives and the reasons each of them was there.
