Plot summary
Five years into their relationship, Marina and Federica share a home and a life, and their ways of dealing with other people differ. Marina acted years ago and is outgoing and expressive; Federica keeps to herself. When Marina gives an interview and is asked about her love life, she names Federica and her job. Federica's co-workers find out, which upsets her, while Marina believes five years is long enough for Federica to be open about the two of them. A director, Stefano, has long admired Marina and now presses her to accept a part he wrote for her, her first in fifteen years; Federica tries clumsily to talk her out of it. By chance Federica crosses paths with Marco, a man she knew years ago and was once drawn to, when she was with Sergio, now her ex-husband.
