Il mio miglior nemico (2006) on Netflix

Plot summary

Achille De Bellis is the wealthy manager of a large hotel chain. The chain has belonged for generations to the family of his wife Gigliola. Gigliola is busy preparing the party for the couple's twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Achille fires Annarita, a chronically depressed maid at the hotel, over the theft of an expensive laptop. Her son Orfeo, a twenty-four-year-old waiter, is worn down by his mother's depression and by the family's money problems. He pleads with Achille to give her the job back, but the manager refuses him. The manager's indifference angers the young waiter, who decides to ruin Achille.
