Plot summary
In Kerala, CI Sajan Philip takes up a jewellery shop break-in in his locality. He gathers a team of officers and they first question Aravindan, a former store employee dismissed earlier over a theft. Market footage shows a commercial van whose plate a local driver does not recognize, and its owner, a loan shark named Mookkan Balan, says he leased it to a migrant family of clothes traders. A gang member's number goes silent from the day of the robbery, and with SP Roopa's approval the team sets out for a village on the Uttar Pradesh-Rajasthan border, learning that its residents do not allow the police in.
