Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- Director Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval first tried to cast Kunchacko Boban in his debut Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 (2019), but Kunchacko turned the role down because the story was unclear to him; after seeing that film, he called Poduval to propose working together.
- The film uses a remix of the yesteryear song Devadoothar Padi from the movie Kathodu Kathoram, originally composed by Ouseppachan; its video, showing Kunchacko Boban dancing as a typical Malayali drunkard at a local festival stage show, became an instant hit on YouTube.
