John Kattadi owns Kattadi TMT steel bars, the business he inherited from his late father Chacko, and lives in Kochi with his wife Annamma. John's childhood friend Kurian Maliekkal rose from humble beginnings to run his own advertising company; his wife Elsy keeps their home, and their daughter Anna holds an IT job in Bangalore. The two families meet again at the wedding reception of Dr. Samuel's daughter, where Annamma and Elsy decide Eesho and Anna would suit each other.
