Plot summary
Sharanya Vasudevan leaves her small town in Palakkad district for an engineering college in Thrissur, and shares a hostel room with Sona Thomas, Sherin and Devika. Anxious and insecure, she avoids whatever unsettles her, yet the seniors rag her and several men press attention on her: an older senior, Ajith Menon, a professor, and a shy classmate, Sangeeth, with whom she keeps a friendship. On an outing in Ernakulam she and her friends bump into Deepu, who tracks her down through Instagram and sends a friend request. Sona is against the friendship; Sharanya accepts the request and the two keep chatting online.
