Plot summary
White Crane is a Westerner who lives among the Wudang monks and is a master of the martial arts. The Wudang are the only force in China that still opposes Kahn Xin, a warlord who keeps a province under his control through the opium trade and destroys everyone who stands against him. A mercenary army storms the temple and kills Myling, the Grandmaster the monks revere. Crane comes out of the ruined temple set on revenge. He meets Jane Marshall, a New York lounge singer, and Bingo Quo, her gangster boss, whose professional ties to Kahn pull Crane and Jane toward the warlord's lair.
