Plot summary
Zack Jardine dreams up blood surfing: his crew spreads chum to draw sharks, then a surfer rides straight through the feeding pack. He brings camerawoman Cecily Howard, his girlfriend, and two thrill seekers, Bog Hall and Jeremy, to a remote island off Florida where the waves and the sharks are worth filming. Local guide John Dirks refuses the charter at first, troubled by visions of swimmers dragged under, then agrees on condition that his sail team comes along, including young Lemmya Lofranco, who takes to Jeremy. Out at the shark grounds the crew chums the water while Bog and Jeremy cut their feet and paddle out among the animals. On a break ashore they watch something enormous take a shark.
