Plot summary
On a scooter ride toward the swamp of his childhood, Kermit the Frog looks back on his first big adventure. He is twelve, and the swamp is home, with Croaker, the best hopper around, and Goggles, a shy toad, as his closest friends. Kermit is curious about what lies past the swamp's edge; Croaker and Goggles are content to stay. The three run into Dr. Hugo Krassman, a science teacher, and his assistant Mary, who are out to capture frogs, and Arnie the Alligator warns them that humans bring danger. A huge bullfrog called Blotch then bullies Goggles, and the scuffle spills onto a road, where a pet store owner named Wilson takes the two away. Kermit and Croaker set off to rescue them.
