Plot summary
Sodomy is still a crime in Namibia, and gay relationships are stigmatized. Simeon sells kapana, beef grilled over an open fire, in a busy marketplace in Windhoek, and he lives in Katutura, the township. George is a middle-class insurance broker and successful businessman based in the central town who comes to the market for restaurant supplies. The two young men, from different backgrounds, meet in a bar, each with a secret, and grow close and fall in love. Their families and the society around them disapprove.
