Plot summary
Rambo grows up in a village where his family is said to carry a curse: anyone who marries into it will die. His father marries a teacher, Minah Kaif, to break it. After his father dies in a fall and Minah becomes paralyzed, the village blames Rambo's birth, and he leaves, believing his presence spreads misfortune. As an adult he drives a cab by day and works as a pub bouncer at night. At the pub he befriends Khatija; after her boyfriend Mohammed Mobi slaps her, she leaves him and grows closer to Rambo. Driving his cab, he meets Kanmani, a saleswoman who raises her sister Minmini and her disabled brother Bhargav and wants a husband who will let them live with her. Khatija and Kanmani both fall for Rambo, and he loves both in return.
