Plot summary
Madhu is a married man who wants to live as a womanizer. He makes advances to one woman after another, married women among them, and the women who respond to him each have a reason of their own. One of them has a husband who drinks and takes no interest in her. Another carries on a fantasy of an extramarital relationship over the telephone. A third has adopted an ultra-modern, hippie way of life. Madhu's wife Rekha is the other party to the conflict. He fails with every woman he pursues and does not consummate a single affair with any of them.
