Plot summary
John Light has spent his years in Arizona's State Penitentiary as one of its most dangerous inmates. In a prison bible study he accepts Christ, and the guards and the other inmates are stunned. Once released, he is eager to tell the outside world about his new faith. What greets him instead is fear, because he looks like a thug rather than a theologian. His few allies are Matt Garrett, his Christian mentor, and Tom Morgan, his no-nonsense parole officer. The men beside him have never thrown a punch, and together they face a fight for his life.
