Plot summary
Harold Benson smokes cigars for luck and plays blackjack, and at one table he never loses. The dealer who keeps paying him is Willie Brodax, and once the casino decides that Willie is jinxed, it lets him go. Willie finds another dealing job in Reno, Nevada, and Harold trails him there, which means Bonita Friml, Harold's wife, has to walk away from her singing engagement in a Las Vegas lounge and come along. In Reno, Willie tells casino security that Harold is in the building, but no evidence of cheating turns up. Milt Hawkins, who works alongside Willie at the casino, suggests that Willie profit from Harold the way Harold has profited from him.
