Ken Wahl
Biography
Ken Wahl, an American actor who retired from the screen in 1996, was born in Chicago and began in Los Angeles as an extra, with a small part in The Buddy Holly Story (1978). His first notable lead came in Philip Kaufman's The Wanderers (1979). He appeared in Fort Apache, the Bronx (1981) and headlined Race for the Yankee Zephyr (1981); he also led The Soldier (1982) and Jinxed! (1982). After appearing in the television film The Dirty Dozen: Next Mission (1985), he starred as undercover FBI agent Vinnie Terranova on Wiseguy, which ran from 1987 to 1990 and earned him a Golden Globe and an Emmy nomination; he wrote and directed episodes of that series. Wahl later appeared in The Taking of Beverly Hills (1991) and took a role in The Favor (1994).
