Plot summary
Jimi Hendrix was born in Seattle, moved to New York and then to London, where his career took off. The documentary gathers friends, fellow musicians and producers who knew him at different points, and they sit for interviews about the guitarist and the music he made. Hendrix died in 1970, and the people who worked with him recall the years before that, from his early life to the fame he found in Britain.
